What You'll Explore
Every participant builds in their own Replit account, owns their project, and can continue evolving it long after the session ends.
AI Architecture
- Deterministic vs. LLM-based systems
- Choosing models for cost, speed, and quality
- Prompt engineering for production workflows
Data & Integrations
- Candidate enrichment strategies
- LinkedIn, GitHub, and resume data
- Data provider tradeoffs
- API integration patterns

About Solara
Everything discussed in the AI Lab comes from software we use internally to recruit engineers at VC-backed startups.

Where the Idea Started

With Andrew Ng at DeepLearning.AI HQ
Earlier this year I attended Andrew Ng's AI Recruiting event at DeepLearning.AI HQ. Following the event, I hosted a live AI build session where recruiters collaborated to build a recruiting application in Replit.
That experience reinforced an important lesson.
People don't learn AI by watching someone build. They learn by building themselves.
VC Talent AI Lab brings that same hands-on building experience to the VC Talent community.
Who Should Attend
VC Talent Partners interested in building with AI. Whether you're opening Replit for the first time or you've already built recruiting tools with Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT, you'll leave with practical implementation patterns, architectural insights, and a project you own.
- A Replit project you own and can continue evolving
- Practical implementation patterns from production systems
- Better architectural decision-making for AI tooling
- A curated peer group solving similar problems
Request an Invitation
The next session is Wednesday, July 29th at 1PM EST. Sessions are invite-only and limited to 5 VC Talent Partners. If you're interested in building practical recruiting tools with AI, submit your request below.
